Zoey Zancara
At just 22 years old, Zoey Zancara is an emerging leader in choral music education and performance, currently pursuing a Choral Music Education degree with a Conducting Certificate at the University of North Florida under Dr. Cara Tasher, with an expected graduation of May 2026. Mentored by distinguished educators including Dr. Cara Tasher, Dr. James Hall, and Dr. Timothy Groulx, she combines technical skill, leadership, and vision to inspire singers of all ages.
She has conducted all three UNF ensembles, performed internationally with the UNF Chamber Singers in Finland, Estonia, and Latvia, and appeared with the Jacksonville Symphony Chorus in major masterworks including Handel's Messiah, Brahms’ Requiem, and Mozart’s Requiem. A passionate advocate for inclusive and transformative music education, Zoey served as Past President of UNF’s NAfME chapter and is an active member of ACDA, FMEA, and FVA.
Looking ahead, Zoey is committed to shaping the next generation of choral musicians as an educator, conductor, and community leader, creating vibrant, inclusive ensembles both in the United States and internationally, and advancing the impact of choral music for years to come.
